You Live and You Learn

There is a lesson for my wife and me in all of this. It's a simple one that we will probably be very, very aware of...

Do your research.

In today's world, we have to take advantage of all of the information that is available on the internet. My guess is that if we spent a little extra time doing a couple more Google searches or asking a few more people about their experience with Scheer Photography, we maybe could have avoided this whole situation.

I can tell you, though, I am certainly fired up about this situation. I want to address Mr. Scheer and find out why he did what he did. I don't understand people who take advantage of others. It's a losing battle. I'm bound and determined to get what is rightly ours.

The funny thing is that I just really want our pictures. It's really very simple. I don't care about whether or not there are charges filed against Brian Scheer. I don't really want to sue him or anything like that - even if I were to win, I doubt that I would see any of the judgement. I just simple want the pictures and the album that we bought.

That's all.

There is some potentially good news that I'm finding out now. It seems like someone else who was ripped off by Scheer may have figured out a way to contact him and get some sort of resolution. I'm waiting to hear back from her if things are worked out. My fingers are crossed.

Any luck Tracy? My name's Dave, and my wife and I have had a terrible experience with Scheer Photography as well. Our wedding was in October of 2007, and we only have our proofs. A wedding album was included in our wedding package, which was paid in full over a year ago. All of the contact numbers I had for Brian are disconnected, and he hasn't responded to any of my emails. At this point, I'd be happy with a DVD of the original pictures. We can make put together our own album without Brian's "help". Any advise on how to get a response from Brian? Have you had any luck with your situation? I'd appreciate any information you can share with me. Thanks!
